Hello, I just signed up for the Beginner Ninjascript training course and have ran into an issue that I'm not sure if this will cause me any issues with future lessons. In the first lesson after I've enabled Debug Mode, followed the directions to create the Print Indicator, everything compiles fine but when I launch Visual Studio via the Ninjascript editor it's not showing in my Solutions Explorer in the Indicators folder nor anywhere I've looked or searched. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and has a solution.

Found it. All the other indicators have @ in front of them. Mine just says Print without the @.

Thanks!

Hi,

Thanks for signing up for our Beginner course for NinjaScript

First of all, so far none of the other learners didn't face the same. However, I am going to support you on this. Please follow these below steps to investigate further:

a. Please make a note of the indicator you created and name of the folder, if any.

b. Then close your NinjaTrader 8 platform and check ........\Documents\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom\Indicators folder whether you have that indicator there or not. If you have created, then it should be there.

c. If it's in the above location (or within the folder, if any), the start your platform and open NinjaScript editor.

d. Then compile again to make sure it compiles. If it doesn't, then you can take a screenshot of the error and send us in your reply here to investigate further.

e. If it compiles, then from NinjaScript editor, open NinjaScript Explorer and you should be able to see that there listed in indicator list.

f. If you see the indicator there, then open VS using VS button on ninjaScript editor.

g. When VS is up and running, press Ctl+B and that should build the project.

h. If you check the solution explorer and if you still can't see the indicator, then screen record above processes and send in your reply here.
